目前几所知名院校要求的面试方式均为Video Interview，即以现场录制视频的形式上传到申请系统中。
面试过程中通常会出现两种题型，一种是Speaking的形式回答问题，另一种是Writing的形式回答问题，两种均要求在规定的时间内完成，而且写作题目会有字数要求。比如，多伦多大学的工程专业和商科专业，英属哥伦比亚大学的商科专业，麦克马斯特大学的工程专业、滑铁卢大学的工程专业、约克大学的商科专业等。
此类型的题目是将学生放入假设的情景中，考查学生处理问题的态度、方法和能力，因此建议学生认真思考并组织语言，明确自己的做法或观点，并能具体阐述这样做的原因。
这个考点常见的问题有
1）英属哥伦比亚大学商科专业Build a relationship with an individual or a group in orderto complete a task, and how do you achieve it?
2）多伦多大学商科专业If aperson is treated rudely, how should he deal with it?
3）约克大学商科专业If you were in a strange country, what would you do first?
4）多伦多大学工程专业Imagine that you must estimate the volume of a 2-storey shopping center? What do you think are the THREE most important pieces of information you would need to find out. How would you use these to find asolution?
